Milestone Celebration at Balmoral!

We’ve always known life at Balmoral is pretty special. And there’s plenty of research to support this. A recent National Institute of Health study confirmed that living in a retirement village leads to (quote) “happier, healthier and longer lives.”
You can’t argue with the data. And on 17 April, we celebrated an amazing example of that at Balmoral Village. Residents, staff and directors gathered to celebrate three incredible ladies and help them celebrate an incredible milestone: 100 years! We also launched our very own, Balmoral Centenarian Club.
Please join us in congratulating: Eveline Lee (February, 2026), Peg Peterson (March, 2026) and Joy Kennedy (April, 2026).
All three ladies are long-standing residents of Balmoral. Eveline moved to Balmoral in 1997 so has called the village home for almost 29 years. Peg moved in just two doors up nearly 19 years ago, in July 2009. And Joy moved to Balmoral just before Christmas in December 2003 so is celebrating 23 years this year.
We like to hope that Balmoral has played a memorable and important part in each of their life journeys to get to this great milestone. We are extremely proud of each of them and honoured to have them in our Balmoral community.
To mark the occasion, Balmoral was proud to unveil our new ‘Balmoral Centenarian Club Honour Board’ taking pride of place in our community centre.
In keeping the celebrations rolling, on 27 April, Eveline, Peg and Joy enjoyed a special and intimate tea and biscuits with Local Member Kim Wells MP and Max Williams, Liberal for Rowville, who congratulated the ladies on their incredible achievement.
Happy birthday Eveline, Peg and Joy, and congratulations from all of us at Balmoral!
