Balmoral: A Heart of Gold

Community spirit is so important for any retirement village. And, at Balmoral, that generosity of spirit — thanks to the thriving, inclusive, caring and selfless resident community — has never been stronger.
No cause is too small. Nor need to large. And the examples are plenty.
Like in January when the residents of Balmoral raised more than $1,800 for Blaze Aid, a volunteer-based charity that works with families around Australia to provide support after bushfires, floods and cyclones.
And in February. When village residents supported the Village Bowls Club Fundraiser for the Boronia Community Breakfast Program, a vital program offering hot meals and social connection for those in need, by raising $1,500.
Both community contributions were recognised in the latest edition of Studfield Wantirna Community News.
Let’s not forget the Biggest Morning Tea, raising much needed funds for the Cancer Council of Australia. Residents enjoyed a wonderful morning tea and donated over $1,300 to this incredible worthy cause.
At Balmoral, community extends far beyond the village gates. The remarkable charitable contributions made by residents over the years are a testament to their generosity, compassion and commitment to helping others. Whether supporting local organisations, national charities or neighbours in need, their efforts continue to create positive change and inspire those around them. It is yet another example of the vibrant, caring community that residents are proud to call home.
