Last week, Balmoral was filled with fun and friendly competition as we brought a little of Glasgow, Scotland, to the village for our very own Balmoral Commonwealth Games.
Residents embraced the spirit of the Games, forming teams and competing in a range of entertaining challenges. The day was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, community spirit and good sportsmanship, with plenty of cheering and encouragement throughout.

A heartfelt thank you to all eight teams who participated with such enthusiasm, teamwork and great sportsmanship. Your energy and willingness to get involved made the event a fantastic success.
A very special thank you also goes to our dedicated committee members Deb, Robyn, Ron and Ron, whose hard work and organisation ensured the day ran so smoothly.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and helped make the Balmoral Commonwealth Games such a memorable occasion. We look forward to many more fun community events together!
